I don't buy it - I think there's enough data out there to tag a profile (both perp and victim) as high risk. If a woman (or man) "fits the bill" of a victim - recently divorced/widowed/etc and has struck up a conversation with another user who pretty soon chooses to hide his profile - then it's the duty of the platform to inform this high-risk user (potential victim) that she might be playing into someone's hands.
Maybe we should change our perspective. For centuries the white man enslaved the Africans. Now the African cafe boys are looting white women. Maybe it's fair play after all..
