Having issues a four year old modem, they tell us to get a new one.

Every few days, around mid-morning, the internet starts acting up - modem connects, then, a few minutes later, has to go through the whole routine again.

Gets a new modem and a new problem - every few seconds, like 60, the ping latency skyrockets to 10-20 seconds!
